Pinela is an indigenous variety of Vipava Valley in Slovenia with a pale lemon yellow color. The wine has fresh aromas of yellow fruits and slight hints of spices. On the taste it’s a dry wine with a noticeable freshness (acidity). A vibrant wine with a nice fruity taste and pleasant freshness.
Vinification: hand harvested, grapes pressed immediately, naturally fermented in stainless steel tanks
Aging and botteling: The wine is aged for 11 months in stainless steel (inox) tanks after cold fermentation, 6 months on lees. Bottled after 11 months. Released on the market after 2 months being in a bottle.

Zelen is an indigenous variety of Vipava valley that got its name from a yellow color with green shades. It is a light wine made in stainless steel tanks that help it show its light floral character. A light yet elegant wine with usually low alcohol content and a great companion with fish pate or vinaigrette dishes. Great with fresh, wild asparagus.

Rebula is a traditional variety of the broader Goriška Brda-Colio and Vipava Valley region. It is a white wine with medium to full body and elegant aromas of fresh yellow fruits and hints of apple in case of a fresh, non-macerated version such as ours. The notes of apples and citrus are very well complimented with its slight mineral taste.

Barbera rose is of a light pink color. On the nose the wine is fruity, with notes of fresh red berries. In the palate the wine is dry with a noticeable freshness (acidity), a medium bodied wine with a elegant fruity taste. Perfect for hot days and even more perfect with a Caprese salad.

Aging and botteling: The wine is aged for 7 months in stainless steel (inox), 5 months on lees. Bottled after 8 months. Released on the market after 2 months being in a bottle.

Barbera from Slovenian Vipava valley is less structured as its Italian sister. Yet the wine still has gentile ruby red color, light tannins and stronger acidity. It’s a wine with rich fresh red berry notes with hints of earthy and ripe fruit notes. Its a pleasant drinkable wine perfect as a companion to some nice pasta dishes as well as an appropriate companion to beef tagliatta.
Vinification: hand harvested and then de-stemmed, the wine was naturally fermented and 6 days macerated in open vats.
